Who is running the Promotion?

The Promoter of this Promotion is Coca-Cola Europacific Partners New Zealand Limited, The Oasis, 19 Carbine Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland (“CCEP”) (Promoter).

Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd. is not the promoter of the Promotion.  The Promotion is administered on behalf of the Promotor by Farrimond Limited, located at 7 Abbey St, Auckland City, Auckland (Administrator). The Monster Energy brand names, logos and/or materials are used for the purposes of promotion and/or Redemption Product descriptions only and such use is not intended to suggest or imply Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd’s sponsorship of this Promotion. The Promotion is being conducted within selected stores in New Zealand. Information regarding participating stores, Redemption Products and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.

 

Participation in this Monster Energy Earn the Gear Promotion (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these and any other applicable terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions). For reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, it may be necessary for the Promoter to amend or include additional terms and conditions. Any amendments or additional terms and conditions will be posted at http://monsterunleashed.co.nz/earnmonstergear.

When will the Promotion start and end?

The Promotion starts at 12.00 (NZST) on 23rd July 2025 and ends at 23.59 (NZST) on 26th October 2025 (the Promotion Period).

Who can enter?

Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are aged 18 years and over excluding:

(a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, the Participating Stores and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes);

(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child, or sibling of a people referred to in paragraph (a) above;

(c) persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and

(d) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to request proof of your eligibility in the event that there is doubt over your eligibility to enter the Promotion.

The persons referred to in paragraph (b) above include natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter has absolute discretion to determine whether a person is an eligible entrant.

Where will the Promotion run?

The Promotion will only be valid in participating stores as identified by the display of in-store promotional material for this Promotion (Participating Stores). A list of Participating Stores can be found on https://www.monsterunleashed.co.nz/faqs. Purchases made from stores not participating in the Promotion will not be valid.

Do I need to buy anything for a chance to win?

Buy in one (1) transaction, any one (1) Monster Energy can product (all variants excluding import, online and vending machine purchases) from Participating Stores during the Promotion Period (Qualifying Purchase).

Your purchase receipt must clearly identify the Participating Store of purchase, the product/s purchased (which must comprise a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Promotion Period and before you submitted your entry).

Entry Instructions

At the time of purchase, you will receive a unique coded entry card from the cashier. Upload the 6-digit code online at http://monsterunleashed.co.nz/earnmonstergear & earn points (1 entry card code = 1 Point) which can be used to redeem against Monster Energy Gear Redemption Products (Redemption Products). Online sign up is required to participate.

Once you have collected the required number of points to redeem a Redemption Product, the product description will update to allow you to claim the Redemption Product.

How many times can I enter?

A person may redeem codes for points and claim Redemption Products as many times as they wish providing they have the requisite number of codes and points and redeem during the Promotion Period. Each code can only be used once. Redemption Products cannot be redeemed outside the Promotion Period.

What can I redeem?

Redemption Products & Points are:

  • Beanie= 10pts valued at $20NZD

  • Socks= 10pts valued at $20NZD

  • Juice Cap= 15pts valued at $25NZD

  • Snapback Cap= 20pts valued at $30NZD

  • Drawstring Bag= 25pts valued at $80NZD

  • Backpack= 40pts valued at $100NZD

  • Bluetooth Speaker= 60pts valued at $200NZD

  • Headphones= 75pts valued at $280NZD

  • Gaming Chair= 85pts valued at $450NZD

  • Snowboards= 90pts valued at $1,000NZD.

The estimated total value of Redemption Products available is $475,400NZD. Redemption Products are unavailable for retail purchase, so this value is an estimate only.

Redemption Product colours and sizes are final and cannot be exchanged. Redemption Products illustrated on the point of sale and social images are indicative only of the exact Products. 

All Redemption Products are not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

How many Prizes will there be to redeem?

There are 13,070 Redemption Products to be redeemed.

  • 30 - Monster Energy Gaming Chairs.

  • 30 - Monster Energy Headphones.

  • 10 - Monster Energy Snowboards.

 

The Promotion will end at 11:59pm (NZST) on 26th October 2025 or once all Redemption Products are redeemed, whichever occurs first.

 

If I win, when and how must I claim my Prize?

You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. If you don't produce the proof of purchase when asked, the Promoter may disqualify the relevant entry, and you will lose any right to the Redemption Product. If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any receipt(s) with another person, your entries will be invalid, and you will lose any right to a Redemption Product.

To claim the Redemption Product, you must provide any relevant details (such as and not limited to age, I.D., name and address, and proof of purchase) required to comply with any eligibility requirements when entering your unique 6-digit code through the website.

Prize dispatch and delivery

 

Redemption Products claimed will be dispatched Monday to Wednesday following the week in which the relevant claims are made  till the Promotion Period is over or while stocks last (whichever is the earlier). The final dispatch of Redemption Products will occur on Monday 27 October 2025. Please note: Redemption Products may take between 12 to 30 days from the date of dispatch to arrive, depending on location and delivery conditions.

 

Redemption Conditions

  1. Products for Redemption are only available while stocks last.

  2. Participants have rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which cannot be excluded or limited by the Promoter. These rights include statutory guarantees that any goods provided by the Promoter will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose and that any services provided by the Promoter will be rendered with due care and skill. These Terms and Conditions do not intend to exclude or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent it is permitted by law to do so, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, under laws other than the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 regarding the quality or suitability of the Redemption Products as part of this Promotion and will not be responsible for breach of such representations or warranties. 

  3. Redemption Products must not be sold, used, donated or given away as part of another promotion. Redemption Products are not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  4. If the Redemption Products are unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute products with products of equal or greater value, subject to applicable New Zealand law.

  5. Participants may be required to show proof of age to verify eligibility to enter the Promotion.

General

  1. The Promoter’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion are final and binding in all respects. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant  and may refuse to award any Redemption Product to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion, or obtained redemption points  using fraudulent means.
  2. If a participant or his/her entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, the participant’s entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of the participant’s entries) may be discarded.  The Promoter may, at any time, require the participant to produce documentation to verify the participant’s age.  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
  3. You must not:
    1. Tamper with the entry process;
    2. Engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion;
    3. Act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner towards the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or parties associated with this Promotion;
    4. Do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or parties associated with this Promotion;
    5. Breach any law or regulation of New Zealand or any jurisdiction in which the Redemption Products are claimed; or
    6. Behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate with respect to this Promotion. 
  4. The Promoter is not liable for any entries, Redemption Product claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
  5. The Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this Promotion is final.
  6. The Redemption Products and total estimated Redemption Product values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST.
  7. If this Promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the Promotion or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any applicable law. Any cancellation, changes, or suspension will be notified on http://monsterunleashed.co.nz/earnmonstergear.
  8. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you claiming a Redemption Product. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this Promotion results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Inland Revenue’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

Liability

  1. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this Promotion using Facebook or Instagram. However, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. You completely release Facebook and Instagram from any liability in connection with this Promotion.

  2. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are not liable for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this Promotion or any Redemption Product, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).

Collection and Use of your Personal Information

  1. The Administrator, on behalf of the Promotor may collect, store, process, and will delete after the Promotion is over, your name, email address, mobile number and full address (Personal Information or “PI”), or some of this PI,  and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, or Redemption Product suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI in order to conduct the Promotion. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter will use and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at Privacy policy | New Zealand. Entrants may access the personal information the Promoter holds about them, and should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter at earnmonstergear@farrimond.co.nz. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entrants’ details will be collected for the purposes of collating the entries for the Redemption Product claims, however, the Promoter will not disclose entrants’ personal information to any other entity outside of New Zealand. All entry information will be deleted within 3 months post-Promotion conclusion.
